Alright chickens?
I appear to have had a pretty relaxed weekend. All is well in Palmerston North. The weather has become sunnier but no less chilly.
Late yesterday afternoon I got the urge to be all independent woman-y (only without the distressing Destiny's Child connotations) and drive myself to Foxton beach. I only went the wrong way twice. And managed to avoid all speeding tickets. Way to go me huh?

Those were my feet by the way. Not some random corpse in the sand.

I got a little obsessive with the seagulls, I'll admit.

Splashy, splashy, splashy.
So after stalking three seagulls up and down the beach for an hour, I decided to drive home. Only I took a wrong turn somewhere and ended up here:

Pretty sweet eh? It was frickin' beautiful. Some kind of nature reserve place. I've never see it before.

And..this is where I parked the car.
I then actually drove home. But had to pull over at the side of the road to photograph the pretty coloured clouds.

Aaaand because I have a few more photos uploaded, here they are too:

The bathroom window.

Trees at the esplanade.

Flower at the esplanade.

I realised the only way of getting a shot of the camera, was to photograph it in the mirror.

Ewwww Vegemite.

And now for something, completely different.
