Halloooooooooooo!

Just realised I've had a warning from Paul so I better get with the updateage or I'll be in trouble. So hi! I haven't updated this since uhhh..October 16th. EEk! That is quite a while init? I do apologise. In fact...

I'll walk around with this on my face all week. Probably. Maybe more like an hour. It keeps falling off. The sticky tape's not very sticky. But you get the idea. I'm sorry.

So what have I been up to?

Weeeeell, Halloween I guess was the next thing that happened after we last "spoke". Matt's in the final stages of editing his short film The Top Job about guy who goes for a job interview for the position of god. I've seen a rough cut and it's looking good! They got a fancy pants camera this time and it looks really pro. And his actors are getting better and better with each project.

So Halloween we went down to Wellington so he could do some editing with the guys there. I occupied myself with Christmas shopping which was a ginormous waste of time because I can't afford anything at all. I did find some Blackpool Rock on sale though. That was pretty bizarre. It even had a little picture of Blackpool on it. Who comes to New Zealand and buys Blackpool Rock? I don't know.

Anyway, I met back up with him for dinner and then in the evening we met up with Bailey and Kylie (fellow editor/producers) and went to a special preview screening of this:

Absolutely packed out theater. Can't beat a theater full of horror film lovers on Halloween. It was great. And the film scared the ABSOLUTE crap out of me. I'd heard it wasn't very good so didn't really expect too much from it. And I reckon if you watched it with a crowd of people on DVD all taking the piss, it probably wouldn't be very scary at all. But it really did a number on me. I guess it tapped into something. Plenty of shrieking in the theater so I don't think I was the only one. I thought I was a tough, hardened horror fan but apparently I'm an enormous wuss. Can't wait to see it again. We got back to Palmy about 2am, went straight to bed and 5 minutes later there was a bang on the wall. No kidding. I sat bolt upright "RIGHT, I CAN'T SLEEP BECAUSE OF THAT STUPID MOVIE!" So we sat up watching The Italien Job until I eventually fell asleep. Seriously though, I don't know what's going on. Can't remember the last time I got that silly over a film.

Soooo that was Halloween. Bonfire night we didn't really do anything because New Zealand is lame. I did have a dance around with some sparklers though.

And our particularly lame pumpkins:

Lots of Christmas Shopping followed that. I've now sent everything off so you're either going to get parcels in the next week or they'll arrive on Christmas Eve. Never quite know what Economy Post's going to do. I'm all done with that stuff though so that's a bit of relief!

Today is December 1st and I do NOT have an Advent Calendar. I'm sure you'll all agree, this is a shocking turn of events. I intend to rectify the situation tommorow. There's a Hannah Montanna Advent Calendar out there with my name on it!

Work is pretty awful at the moment because we're barely getting paid. There's no money coming in until the new year so everybody's struggling. Don't quite know what's going to happen there. Think it's going to be a fairly cheapie Christmas this year! But I've definitely decided this coming weekend will be Decorations weekend in which we put up our tree and decorations and try to work out if the Christmas lights (which have been hanging off the gutters all year) still work. Fun times. Also it's Palmerston North Christmas Parade on Saturday which is always hilariously shit and totally puts me in the festive mood. So we're looking on the bright side! It helps that the weather's getting warmer too. I definitely feel happier when the sun's shining.

I think that's about it for now! I'll write another update at the weekend when our Christmas stuff's up. I've seen a little battery controlled train that I want to go round and round the bottom of the Christmas Tree. I reckon if I plead with Matt between now and Saturday, he'll totally come round to the idea.

Love you all lotttts! Hope you're all well!

Check me out being a badass (with the help of photoshop...)

Aaand that's a silly string gun. But you get the idea! We're just been checking out locations and Matt's been practicing his filming/editing skilllzzz so I stepped in as actor for an afternoon. I am terrible. But I can look suitably pissed off as an assasin.

JUMPING SHOT!

Fun, fun, fun

Matt has a rehearsal thing this weekend so I'll have Sunday all to myself. Will try and talk to you all! Hope everyone's happy and healthy!

Just wanted to say GOOD LUCK to mum with the big move tomorrow! Also, now that you're back in the land of the internet, I have all your email details if you've forgotten them.

To everyone else - we're off adventuring tommorow so I'll be MIA this weekend. And probably next weekend if I go to Dinie's. But will call if I can.

Love you all!

Alrighty, I have a zillion and one photos to post so this could end up kind of huge. Apologies for those on Facebook - you've probably already seen most of these!

Spring has most definitely spruuung. We're surrounded by daffodils and blossom and baby lambs. And the weather has calmed down a bit which is lovely. Especially as we're trying to walk to work and back every day. I've only been caught in the rain once.

A few weeks back we went for a walk to Lake Papaitonga near Levin (see last entry for what happened there!). Here's the rest of the pictures from that little walk:

Hi all!

I know I owe a bigger post than this but I'm honestly too tired tonight.

I will just write this though.

A couple of weeks back, Matt and I went for a walk to a lake outside of Levin. I walked over this bridge:

Thought that I'd seen it somewhere before. Turns out I had:

This picture of Nanny and Grandad was taken in 1984. On the same bridge!

Spooky old world init?

I've got a looooad of pictures to upload. I have put most of them on Facebook already so if you're on there, you can go have a look. Otherwise, I promise I'll post everything else when I'm a bit less tired and photobucket stops crashing every 5 minutes.

Love you all lots!!

Hiyaaaa!

Quick update-age.

Weather has been arse and cold. But it looks like we're in for a sunny weekend. Really excited about the prospect of being outside for more than 2 minutes at a time. We're hoping to get hold of a couple of bikes at some point. I'd really like to get fit for the summer. Also going to attempt to plant some more stuff in the garden and hope that it doesn't die. I started off dabbling with a bit of gardening a couple of years ago and it was a complete bloodbath. Casualties all over the place. Everything died. I killed stuff that was supposedly unkillable. But over the last year I've managed to keep alive a rose bush and a lemon tree. So I'm thinkin' the tide might be turning.

I can almost hear the shrieking from the plants when I walk into the gardening centre.

In other news, we're attempting to get some of my photos printed and made into greeting cards. Initially just to sell at Matt's parents shop but if they sell a bit then we're hoping to maybe spread out around the country a little bit. Or at least the town. I'm still working on which designs to print for the time being (I'm being a bit fussy) but we've found a couple of places that would print them fairly cheaply. So that's quite exciting! All going well, I'll sort of have my own little business! I might even get to do a Tax Return at some point. How thrilling is that!

I went to the open day at the college yesterday to pick up some info about their photography courses. They're pretty hefty courses. Probably 3 years. I've narrowed it down to two courses but I'm not sure which one to go with just yet. I have to read up a bit. They're pretty nifty though because you get a qualification at the end of each year. So if after year one, I decide that the course is a load of rubbish, I can still quit and have something to show for it. It won't have been a complete waste of time. OR I can leave it a while and then pick up the other years study when I feel like it. It's full time but I'm hoping to still be able to get in a few hours a day here at the office so we can still cover the bills. But we're still working it all out. I'm a bit hesitant about it. Matt says I'm trying to talk myself out of it. And he's probably right. I'm a worrier.

My sleep patterns have been atrocious. I can't get to sleep at night and I can't get up in the mornings. I have cat issues daily at about 5.30am where I have to let someone in or out (our bedroom's the only room with any heating going overnight so we regularly get someone yowling at the door. And they do NOT stop until I get up - Matt sleeps through it). The house has been insanely cold this winter. We're actually at the point where we're considering getting the whole place insulated over the summmer 'cos I'm really not sure I could cope with another winter like this. The windows are covered in condensation every morning (a couple of times we had to wipe condensation off the TV screen when we got up in the morning). I had to move a matress out of the spare room because it was growing MOULD on it. In fact all the furniture in there had to be moved away from the outside walls.

I WANT THE SUMMER, I WANT IT NOW!

I think that poor mattress is wishing I'd left it moulding away in the spare room..

Typically my view in the evening. Cat cramping up my legs and rugby on the TV.

Still, things are slowly getting better. The evenings are very gradually getting lighter. And we're planning our annual anniversary trip next month. This time I think we've pretty much settled on Northland. Which is basically..anywhere north of Auckland.

I'm excited about it 'cos I've never been north of Auckland. I'm really keen to visit the Bay of Islands. I'd actually love to get to Cape Reinga right at the top (where the two oceans meet) but it's a shit of a long drive just to get to Auckland so I don't know how far we'll get. It's exciting though! Visiting a part of the country I've never seen before. Obviously, we'll take the route that takes in the most waterfalls. I'm still a sucker for a waterfall.

So that'll be sometime around September 19th.

We're doing battle with Air New Zealand today over the travel airpoints they were supposed to give us during our trip. We were supposed to get enough for a free trip to Australia but it doesn't seem to be working out that way (no huge surprise there!) If we can get it sorted though then a trip over the Tasmin Sea seems pretty likely in our future! If we went though, then we'd really need to go to Adelaide to stay with Matt's sister. Which is a bit of an awkward place to get to (and nobody seems to have many good things to say about the place!) so that would take some working out. We'd probably go via Melbourne. I'd love to go to Sydney though, and the Gold Coast and the Great Barrier Reef and somebody needs to pay me to go and do these things!

Ah well, as long as I get a kangaroo in I'll be happy.

We had a lovely week with Matt's sister and Mark and little Max - who is now running around like a proper little person! He can say Uncle Matt and Auntie Cathy too. He's absolutely adorable. Obviously Penny was in her element running around after him. I didn't get that many photos 'cos I stupidly had my camera on the wrong setting but I did manage to capture Matt getting ambushed.

He did very well for someone that's petrified of small children.

We all went over to Te Papa museum in Wellington for the day which I think was probably the first time Penny and Ron had left Palmerston North together since Matt and I got robbed in Rotorua and ran out of petrol. Everyone seemed to have a good time! It was a gorgeous day and I actually managed to find some cool artwork in the museum that I hadn't actually seen before. So that was quite exciting.

Beautiful view over Wellington harbour from Te Papa

Kate and Mark took me to the Manawatu's leading attraction "Owlkatraz" as a late birthday present. Matt refused to take me/attend on the grounds that it looked rubbish. he had too much work to do.

It kind of was really rubbish. I felt a bit bad for being largely responsible for the excursion. But still, I got to see some owls in a shed and feed a really big cow. So hey, it's not all bad. For some reason they have a tradition of keeping really gigantic cows there (they call it the "land of the giants") and for years there was this one cow called Big Red. And even before I came to NZ, I was told of Big Red and how huge and mighty he was. Unfortunately, Big Red passed away and has now been replaced by Big Snow. So I was like...a little bit sad that I wouldn't get to meet Big Red but I figured Big Snow would be a decent replacement.

So we walk into the office/shed where you pay to get in...and there's Big Red's head. MOUNTED ON THE WALL. NEXT TO HIS SKIN!

Poor Big Red.

So, not really the best start. Then the tour. Which was pretty awkward as we were the only ones there. The first part being a trip to the old Shannon jail. Which is like a hundred years old. And basically a shed. But they've made it interesting! This guy who lives in Wellington had a huge collection of owl memorabilia. And his wife told him to get rid of it all. So Owlkatraz agreed to house his owl collection...in the old jail cell. They basically shut you in shed with roughly 80,000 owl thimbles and stuffed birds. I just really didn't know what to say to that. I think I came out with something like "oh...wow....that's a uhhh lot of owls!".

And so it went on. We looked at farm animals. There was a pause while the poor girl wandered off across the hill to look for a pig we were supposed to feed.

It was all just very awkward and awful. And I am absolutely taking every one of you there when you visit.

Jonah LowMoo HAHA! Little bit of All-black humour for you there.

Big Snow. I've seen your future, man. It aint pretty!

The wheel broke in a storm so they fixed it using the kettle. No seriously.

It's quite a pretty place but...yeah. Probably not quite as mind blowing as I hoped! The highlight was probably the names of the owls. Owlton John, Owl Mcphereson and lets not forget the Alpaca - Owlibaba! Ahhh brilliant.

Okay well I'll leave you with some pictures I took the other night when we had a particularly awesome sunset. These were all taken at the track at the bottom of our street.

Goodnight all!

Hiyaaaa!

Well, we're back. In body. I'm not quite sure where exactly my head is. Jetlag is kicking me around a bit. I think because I was all jetlagged to hell in Tokyo, got very little sleep for 2 days..and then got on another 14 hour flight to NZ. So I feel a bit all over the place really.

The weather is absolutely FREEZING. It's beautifully sunny but god it's cold. I don't think we've spent more than 5 minutes in the living room since we got back. It's all about whacking the heater on in the bedroom and setting up camp under a pile of blankets the second you get in the door. It SUCKS! It is still sunny though so that's something. Although naturally it's due to piss it down at the weekend.

I have a post half written about the whole Tokyo thing so I'll leave that until I've got the photos resized.

I HAVE however, compiled a list of some of my top Holiday Highlights (in no particular order). I'm sure there are more that I'll rememeber as soon as I've posted this but for now, here's my pick:

1. Pressing buttons on the side of the toilet in Tokyo and accidently setting of the bidet and spraying water across the room..

2. Baby meerkats.

3. Eating some good curry.

4. “I want to poo at Paul’s house”

5. Me replying “hi!” to every Japanese person that said “hai”. Not realizing that that actually means “yes” and not “hi”,

6. Bruges hot chocolate.

7. Mum ranting about neighbouring cars bucket whilst trying to get off the ferry. Also mum tormenting some poor woman trying to chop her bread in a Belgian supermarket.

8. “I dun even knooo whaa they’re fuuuuu doi?”

9. The amazing bouncing dog.

10. Dad’s chickens eating chipolatas.

11. THE GREEN FIELD.

12. Mum’s reassurance in Dover that ‘there won’t be any terrorists getting on the ferry ‘cos it’s too early in the morning. If they were going to blow themselves up, they’d at least want to have a nice breakfast first.”

13. Chasing Becky round the kitchen with Parker, the remote control spider.

14. Mum’s roast dinner (although this was also a distressing time because I couldn’t eat it all but really, really wanted to!)

15. Getting introduced to N-Dubz.

16. Oxford Street HMV.

17. My cowboy hat (which I had to leave behind!)

18. Seals at Blakeney Point.

19. Nanny’s complete lack of interest at dad’s Seal Photos. “Yes, that’s lovely!” *she says, wandering off down the hall*

20. Matt, despite his best efforts, getting hooked on Big Brother.

21. The following conversation about an exhibit at the Tate Modern which involved a really big table and chairs:

Me: That makes me feel really weird inside. I can’t work out why..
Matt: Maybe because subconsciously it reminds you of being a small child and feeling vulnerable.
Me: ………….no, I think I’m just scared of giants.

Thanks to you all for giving us such a lovely holiday! We really appreciate it and we had a brilliant time!

And in case you wondering, the cats adore Parker:

And when I say "adore" I mean "are terried by".

We're at Auckland airport, abusing the new free internet terminals.

Alrighty, I promised dad I'd update. In fact I promised everybody I'd update. But then I didn't. And as I'm about to spend a decent amount of time with you all, I thought I'd better do this now so that I don't get into trouble.

Quick warning though, I'm absolutely knackered so this might be a bit rushed! Also, these photos have already had their debut on Facebook so if you're on there, you've probably already seen them. Okay, have I made enough excuses now?

Second half of our North Island trip )

And that was pretty much the end of our trip. We dropped Cecile off and then headed back to Palmy. Which was a fairly exhausting drive but I think the girls had a good time.

In other news, it's officially winter and freezing and cold and horrible. When I came out of our bedroom this morning I could see my own breath. That can't be good. I'm trying desperately hard not to get a cold. Not because I'm particularly concerned about being sick. I just don't want to have to convince the customs officials that I don't have Swine Flu. I don't even know how I'd go about doing that. Do they let people in who just have a regular cold? What's the deal? I know NZ airports were examining everybody arriving from the US and Mexico for a while there. Urrrgh. We'll see. Hopefully I'll be alright. There's also supposed to be gales tomorrow so I'm hoping that calms down before we fly to Auckland.

I've done a bit of work at Matt's parents shop for a couple of days this week. Penny's away in Australia so I helped out with the magazine orders and a little bit behind the till. It was actually quite nice working with customers for a bit! I was working there in the mornings and then went into the office in the afternoons. It was fun to vary up the day a bit.

We finished up at work this afternoon. So we just have tomorrow to get everything straight and in order. And then we're off! Very exciting!! We're still having an endless debate over whether or not it's worth renting a car in LA. The guide books say "the traffic is terrible and driving anywhere is difficult and should be avoided" and then it goes on to say "Public transport in LA is a nightmare and not recommended". WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT LEAVE US WITH? I guess we're renting a helecopter. Nobody ever told me Disneyland was like an hour and a half from LA. It's very inconvenient. Sort it out Walt.

But we're all set and we're really excited about seeing you all. I think right now though, I really need to get some sleep. So I'll be on my way. Love you all lots!!

Hi all! Proper follow up post will come this weekend, promise.

Just wanted to let y'all know I don't have Swine Flu.

Didn't we choose a sweet time to fly across the planet? Awesome. Oh well, maybe the queues will be shorter at Disneyland.

I've also succesfully done my application to enter the US next month (you have to do it online now, instead of filling in those little cards on the plane). I ticked all the right boxes so nobody can accuse me of being a drug addict or a nazi.

And last weekend was Holly's Twilight birthday party. There were large amounts of fake blood and vampires and squealing. And my god can these girls squeal! But it was a fun time, And I think Dinie only had to get up twice to tell them to be quiet. Which is pretty good going considering there were 9 of them.

The old classic, Murder In The Dark.

Observe Holly and I's awesome decorating skillzzzz.

I also arrived just in time for the grand filling of David's pond in the front garden. It was looking great on Saturday night, all lit up (sorry, failed to get a picture!) but by Sunday had sprung a leak. Which was quite upsetting for everyone. Apart from Mickey the cat who went for an unwanted swim on Saturday night when she toppled in. I don't think she's the biggest fan of the pond now.

Everyone seems very happy and well though! Holly is playing a fairy in the Nutcracker. Which I'm unfortunately going to miss as I'll be in England. I'm hoping someone will video it. She gets to wear a tutu and everything!

Okay, I have to go to bed. I know I need to finish off my last update. Will try and do it this weekend. Love you all! We're all healthy and fine. The cats decided to deposit a giant dead rat in the middle of our living room last night which may have made me lose my cool momentarily. But other than that we're all good and happy. And I'll see you all sooooooooooon!

Ahhh UPDATE! I need to update!

I've had some threatening messages from Paul so hopefully this will buy me some time.

I've been crazy busy. Lots of stuff to do at work. Running around the North Island, Wellington Zoo! Castle Point! And we just got back from 3 days driving around Tauranga, Rotorua and everywhere inbetween. Finally went to Hobbiton! That's right I've been to THE SHIRE!

So it's been lots of fun but the blogging has gotten a little neglected. And I still don't have this week's pictures sorted (I took over 450 photos over 3 days) so that's going to have to wait even longer I'm afraid.

But I do have a few sorted from the last few weeks so I shall post them now.

Posing with Giant Kiwi in the bustling metropolis that is Eketahuna.

Riding the train around the gardens in Masterton.

Autumn is upon us.

The following are all from a lovely sunny afternoon at Castle Point:

Oh and we did Earth Hour - not using any electricity for an hour. Which I tried to document. It was a little difficult in the dark. I nearly set fire to the coffee table with the candles and there was some emergency microwave use but otherwise I think it was fairly succesfully.

Spooooky.

So there's a mega-huge update to come. I promise I'll get on it as soon as possible.

No real other news right now. Holly's having a Twilight-themed birthday party on the 25th so I'll be going down to Pukerua Bay for that. I've decided not to take part in the 48 Hour Film Festival this year. Matt's still doing it but to be honest, I had to make a decision right now and I'm so exhausted, that the prospect of staying up for an entire weekend, just a fortnight before we're travelling didn't fill me with glee. I'll probably regret it when he goes off and I'm left behind but right now, I'm excited by the idea of having a quiet weekend to myself before everything goes crazy.

'cos y'know...I'M FLYING TO ENGLAND NEXT MONTH! YEEEEEEEAH!

Also, nearly Easter weekend. That's going to be fairly wonderful. I intend to not move for large periods of time.

Hi all!

Sorry I've been so absent. I'm sure you're all devastated I haven't gabbled nonsense at you in a couple of weeks.

I've been craaaaazzzy busy. Audrey and Cecile arrived on Tuesday so we've been out and about, showing them the best New Zealand has to offer. May have overdone it a bit yesterday (out to New Plymouth and back) so I think we're going to take it a bit easier today.

We also took Thursday off work and took them down to Wellington so they could check out the infamous bucket fountain and the museum and stuff like that. Found some random drum sculpture thing in the middle of Civic Square so had a quick bash on that (there were drumsticks just sitting on the ground there. It would have been rude not to!)

Eat your heart out, Paul! I think everybody was quite glad when we left.

Audrey's a big Lord of The Rings fan so we drove over to Miramar (the area of Wellington Peter Jackson lives/works in) to check out the Weta Cave. Peter Jackson's special effects/digital effects company is called Weta. And they've attached a little shop and museum onto the workshop for people that want to check out the props and things. It's really cool and totally free!

Hobbit Feet!

I have a bunch of other pictures but I might whack them on Facebook 'cos I suspect they won't be of much interest. It's a really cool place to go though. And pretty brilliant to think that in the next room, there's props and special effects being created for a new blockbuster (they're working on James Cameron's new movie at the moment).

I still have to resize the piccies from yesterday - and it's a route we've done before anyway so I've probably already posted pictures of the area. But I'll stick them on here at some point.

Hope everybody's okay!!

YO FAMILY! Hello!

It's an extremely boring Thursday afternoon here so I thought I'd write something in this here blog. Sorry for the recent absence.

I'll do a quick rundown of recent events.

* I've become pretty insane and paranoid. So much so, that I'm still 99.9% sure I'm dying of a brain tumour. Nobody else seems to agree (including the THREE doctors I've seen about this now). Everybody does seem to be of the opinion that I'm suffering from anxiety and panic attack type things. which obviously is completely fabulous. Thanks body. I also have glasses, following my second trip to the optometrist. He (like the first one I visited) said I have very healthy eyes and good vision but he's given me some glasses to use when I'm on the computer and reading and stuff because I'm a *little* bit long sighted. I'm not convinced that the problem was enough to be causing the brain shattering headaches I've been having but there you go. I guess the supposed anxiety was contributing to that. I was getting random muscle twitching at night. At one point my whole arm came up off the bed and I'm just sat there like "hmmmm, I didn't do that..". FUN. I had a bunch of blood tests last week also, just to check I didn't have diabetes and a whole bunch of other stuff. I don't. So that's nice. I still want someone to scan my head and tell me the headaches aren't a symptom of something awful but nooobody think it's necessary so what do I know. It's only MY HEAD. I will say though, I had my first blood test without throwing up! It's the first time ever that a blood test hasn't resulted in vomiting. So yay me!

We'll see how we go. I'm pretty sure I'm completely insane.

* This past weekend I was down in Pukerua Bay, hanging out with Abbotts-Holmes Brigade. They all seem very happy and well. Holly has started her new school with her trademark style (i.e she's totally cool and already rockin' in and out of Wellington on the train with her pals). We had a fun weekend and I finally went on the Wellington Cable Car up to the Botanic Gardens. Which was very lovely, and the sun was shining desite the insane wind.

The rest of the weekend was spent making Holly's horrifying doll Wendy into a calendar. Here's a sneaky peak at May:

I think it's going to be a big seller. That's Wendy driving past Cley Mill. As you do.

OH and I picked up my fabulous Christmas present from my father. A rather amazing 18-200mm Camera Lense. Thanks Peeeej! I had a play with it last night at the bottom of our road. I can finally photograph the hills! They were always too far away before.

* On Valentines Day, we had a picnic down by the "lagoon". I'm reluctant to call it a lagoon as it's kind of dirty water that's 90% duck poo but still, that's technically what it's called. Anyway, it's swamped with ducks so we went down there, had a picnic and then began a feeding frenzy.

I sorta fell n love with this guy:

We had some good times...*siiigh*

Matt and I also went out for dinner in the evening and despite my continuing headaches, it was a lovely night.

* Now we're just gearing up for Audrey & Cecile who are arriving in two weeks time. We're having a few bedding dilemmas but I think we'll get it sorted. We've got a couple of road trips planned for when they get here along with a few day trips to Wellington and Castle Point and maybe up to the mountains. Hopefully we'll do New Zealand justice and they'll have a good time! At the very least, it means we've finally got our spare room cleared out.

* We've had a few minor changes to our itinerary for the England trip - none of which really affect anything. Just an hour change here or there. I'm pretty annoyed with myself 'cos a few weeks ago I noticed that Flight of The Conchords were touring and playing in LA a few days before we arrived. Which was frustrating and annoying but hey, we weren't going to be there so it sucks but that's life. NOW I've just realised that I got the dates mixed up, and they'll actually be playing LA in the evening of the day we arrive. SO WE COULD HAVE MADE IT! But obviously all the tickets are sold out now. Blehhhhhhh. I guess we'll have to wait until they finally come back to New Zealand. One day Jemaine! One day you will be mine!

AAAnd I think that brings us up to today really. Nothing hugely exciting I'm afraid. I can't waaaaaait to get back to England. I'm so excited. Hope everybody is happy and well!
